With efforts under way to determine the future management of 9.3 million acres of Idaho's national forest backcountry, hunter and angler involvement is important to ensure that our sporting traditions are maintained.

Right now, the state of Idaho and the federal government are listening to the public in determining the future management of these public lands. By taking two minutes and sending a letter to Idaho Lieutenant Governor Jim Risch, you can make a difference. Sportsmen must speak up now to ensure that management of Idaho's backcountry is conducive to quality hunting and fishing.
